If the world isn’t playing by the book anymore, why should education? That’s the question Billabong High International School set out to answer with “Not By The Book.”

In a world where ‘Engineer-Doctor-CA’ isn’t the only trio worth chasing, we brought in 6 unconventional career stars to talk to students — and more importantly, to their parents. From Masterchef Harsh Kedia to actor Srishti Shrivastava, from footballer Harish Bhatt to food vloggers Hungry Backpackers — each of them proved one point loud and clear: success doesn’t need a syllabus.

Through a series of in-school sessions that were also broadcasted on YT live, these creators, athletes, and artists shared stories, sparked curiosity, and opened minds to careers built beyond classrooms.

The goal wasn’t just to inspire kids. It was to rewire how education is perceived — not as a fixed path, but as a launchpad to anywhere. Reinforcing the thought that Billabong High International School doesn’t just prepare students for a career. It prepares them for life.
